About Eléonore Zittoun

I am a student in Biodiversity Conservation and an agronomic engineer. In 2017, I conducted my master thesis for the agronomic engineering school in Cambodia, mapping tropical forest habitats and assessing mammal distribution there. One year later, I applied for an Msc in Biodiversity Conservation. With a passion for Asia, and particularly Central and South East Asia, I wished to conduct my second master thesis in Mongolia. I was planning on leaving France to Mongolia in May but COVID stroke and I had to find a plan B. Fortunately, the Wildlife Conservation Society needed someone to process pictures from a defencing project. This project aims to reconnect the habitats of Mongolian gazelles, divided by the TransMongolian railway to allow migratory movements.
