Through storytelling the initiative ‘Island Stories of Change’ will illustrate a series of community conservation initiatives and sustainable ways of living, that benefit both nature and people in the long run. Our goal is to develop and share powerful visual narratives that demonstrate how community ownership and collaboration can trigger positive change and improve quality of life for all.

We feel this aligns perfectly with the Conservation Optimism mission and we are inspired – and honoured – to be part of the ConservationNOW dynamics, since we see it as a catalyst, an online hub to bring our stories up to higher level a broader platform, while sharing a common hope to move away from environmental doom and gloom scenarios towards a more inspiring, engaging and uplifting optimism that inspires people into action.
