About Manya Singh
I am the Grasslands Lead at Sahjeevan, a non-profit in Kutch working on biodiversity conservation. Here, I look at the floral and faunal diversity and assemblage of open natural ecosystems, especially the Banni grasslands of Kutch and the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, the westernmost state of India. I believe in practicing participatory and community-led conservation.
