The Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) is the only organisation in the world that concentrates solely on the conservation and management of giraffe in the wild throughout Africa.

GCF is international science-based conservation organisation that provides innovative approaches to save giraffe in the wild. From our operational base in Windhoek, Namibia, GCF’s small and dynamic team currently supports giraffe conservation efforts in 15 African countries. As a network organisation, GCF does not work in isolation; working closely with local, national and international partners is at the core of our organisational values and our approach to giraffe conservation in Africa.

We strongly believe that sharing positive conservation stories and highlighting conservation successes is more impactful than spreading doom and gloom. Giraffe are in trouble, but together we can make a difference and save giraffe in Africa.
