“What does nature recovery look like to you?”
Conservation Optimism, the Leverhulme Centre for Nature Recovery and the Oxford University Museum of Natural History are partnering to launch a public art competition exploring visions of nature recovery. We would love to see artworks from all over the world, created by people of different ages and backgrounds, using a variety of media.
Share your submissions on social media with the hashtag #NatureRecoveryArtChallenge and tag #conservationoptimism so we can amplify your vision!
Exhibition:
Selected pieces will be printed and displayed at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History during the Good Natured Film Festival on July 15, 2023. Subject to artist consent, they may also be displayed on our website as part of the virtual festival.
Submission and Deadline:
Artworks may be pre-existing as long as they address the prompt, or created specifically for the competition. We may be able to accept three dimensional pieces that do not require power if delivered by the artist; otherwise, these pieces can be submitted as photographs. All two-dimensional artworks must be printable in at least 300 DPI in an 8×10 format. Please complete one form per artwork submitted.
Please submit your artwork files and captions through the submission form by June 18, 2023.
