Biographical Info
Jordy Michelmore and Lachie McFeeters are field researchers working with the Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) in Namibia. They currently manage the Northwest Namibia Programme, which is a long-term ecological monitoring and conservation research programme focusing on the desert-dwelling Angolan giraffe in the arid northwestern of Namibia. Both from Australia, they are experienced in field research and have been involved in several projects throughout Australia and Africa including island rodent eradication, dugong health assessments, and fitting tracking units on giraffe. Jordy and Lachie are both passionate about conservation and enjoy discovering more about wildlife and wild places.
