About Sudha Kottillil
I completed my Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and Resource Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi after a Bachelor’s in Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology from Women’s Christian College, Chennai.
I am working on shark phylogeography, including a global study based on secondary data. I plan to complete my original project on shark phylogeography in India which has been halted due to the ongoing pandemic. The work is being carried out at the Centre for Ecological Studies, Indian Institute of Science and Dakshin Foundation, Bangalore where my dissertation was carried out as well. Previously, I have interned or carried out research in organizations like Wildlife Trust of India and Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment. My interests lie in the field of ecology and biodiversity conservation.
