About Leo Thom

Leo ran an animation studio in London for five years before getting more involved with conservation and building up his knowledge of mangrove forests. He now works as a Creative Director for the Mangrove Action Project creating multi-platform content to improve visibility of the organisation and bring to life stories of their work and programs, as well as mangroves. Leo is currently completing a Masters in Wildlife Filmmaking, in partnership with the BBC Natural History Unit, and is passionate about producing films that reach a wide audience whilst shining a light on the intimate relationships people have with nature, especially mangroves.
