Love The Oceans is a small marine conservation organisation working in Jangamo, Mozambique.

We feel passionately about conservation and believe that positive conservation stories and attitudes are essential, especially given the current climate. We feel joining ConservationNOW will encourage positive environmental action and a help fight burnout in the conservation space.

Ribbontails are caught through by-catch which, when combined with slow reproduction rates, has them as Vulnerable on the IUCN list

LTO works to create an MPA to protect the habitat and species on our reefs, including the Round Ribbontail Ray.

Ribbontail rays are most commonly found in estuaries & reefs around the Indo-Pacific. They are distinctive with their mottled pattern and ‘ribbon-like’ tail.
